Hi Friends!

We get lots of inquiries about when I will be holding a workshop, I have beeen on the fence about this for a while now. The reason being is SOOO many people are now doing “workshops”. Some of those are talented educators and others are people trying to earn a buck. Make sure you know about the track record of anyone providing educational services.

What I think I’m going to do is keep offering one on one education. I really feel private learning is more beneficial to the student because you are working on their specific needs. I offer one and two days classes, by the end of two days your head hurts and you are ready to go home There is a lot of info to absorb. I also don’t have a problem with teaching 2-3 at a time if a group of friends want to do it together.  So as of now no big workshops for me just personal learning that benefits your specific needs.

Hi Dawn,
Really hope this finds you well. It was so lovely to quickly meet you at WPPI and sit in on your fabulous presentation. I cannot tell you how inspiring it was. Live changes so fast. We are based in Tokyo and have been here during the past traumatic few weeks.

We have just returned from Tohoku where we have been documenting, volunteering and assisting in relief efforts. It is simply unimaginable. The scale is enormous. We just wanted to touch base, reach out and share our experiences with you. Please feel free to share with your network. It would be so appreciated. Thank you truly…The people of Tohoku need just so much help.

This year at WPPI I only entered one entry, It was a project with a little girl who has become very close to my heart. Watch the video below and you will understand why she made such an impact on me. The fusion album category was made for this type of project, I’m truly honored to have won 1st this year. I hope you enjoy the video and feel the talent of this little girl the way I did. Thanks you to Rhema Marvanne and her dad Teton for trusting me and allowing me into their lives. I also want to thank Brandon Goodwin with Goodwin Films for taking this journey with me and trusting my vision for this project….I could not have had a better person than you!

We are doing a little computer housecleaning. Its time to say goodbye to all of our old sessions that have been sitting there from 2009 and before. We are making the files available for a 1 times purchase on cd for $250. We plan to clean all hard-drives off around Jan 10th. Heather and Ryan had a beautiful ceremony and reception in Napa Valley California. It was a stunning event to say the least! Below are a few of the couples shots we took while walking around wine country. I want to say a huge thank you to Heather and Ryan for choosing me as their photographer. They are both photographers themselves, needless to say its an honor for another photographer to choose you on such an amazing day.
