Ok so there was no office bet, but when Scott came in and said he would shave his hair Kyla and I about fell over ourselves getting the clippers ready! Megan was willing to play along with us but was a bit more scared. Due to Scott’s girlfriend hating his long hair so I felt pretty good about not getting in too much trouble for helping to encourge him :) He is also lucky Kyla shaves her own husbands hair!!!

The best part was I was able to get him to do his best George Costanza pose for us!! haha! This was a great way for the office to start off a Monday after a holiday!  Hope you all get a good smile on your face from these pics!! :-)  Happy Monday!!

Sign up, room rates are great right now too!!
Ten Great Reasons Why You Need To Go To Summer School!

It’s going to be “FUN”…remember the word “FUN”?  It’s too often lost in business today, but here’s an opportunity to have some fun and fine tune your photographic, marketing and business skills at the same time!

This is the first program of its kind to pack 14 speakers into just 2 ½ days, so you don’t need to be away from your business for very long. Get there by 7:00 pm on Sunday, August 16 and be headed home after lunch on Wednesday!

It’s a great value – and not only includes a FREE full registration to WPPI 2010 next March, but now, thanks to a special joint program with the Digital Wedding Forum you’ll be able to enroll in a FREE six month membership in DWF!  If you’re already in DWF then you know the value – but if you’re not a member, then here’s your opportunity to network with the very best in the industry.

How about picking up on new technologies including mixed media, SEO, tips on social media like Twitter, Facebook and blogging – not to mention techniques on album creation, lighting, marketing and business – and this is just the beginning!

MGM has an amazing rate of $69 per night – share a room with a friend and your cost is down even lower!  Plus, there’s a 2 for 1 entrée card good at most of MGM’s restaurants, bars and a $35 activity credit per room per stay for dining or entertainment charged to your room.

Take a look at the line-up for this year’s Summer School – it doesn’t get any better!  Bambi Cantrell, Skip Cohen, Tony Corbell, Ron Dawson, Robert Evans, Jim Garner, Jerry Ghionis, Mitche Graf, Matt Hill, Kevin Kubota, Charles and Jennifer Maring, Dane Sanders and Ken Sklute!

A format designed to learn…the room will be set up classroom style so that everyone has a place to sit at a table – NOT a crowded theater style set up.  And, there will be charging station in the back of the room.  So, if you like to take notes on your laptop, bring it along!

Network, network, network – you’re not alone dealing with the challenges into today’s economy.  Here’s a mid-year chance to network with friends and associates and talk about the challenges in today’s market – and building your network helps you fight the “dragons”!

No tough choices on which program to attend!  Each program will be presented one at a time.  And, the speakers will be available at various intervals for additional discussion at Speaker/Sponsors Corner, just outside the ballroom.

Oh yeah, did we mention “FUN”?  Just because the Media keeps telling us it’s going to be a bad year, doesn’t mean it has to be!  No matter how tough a year it is, there are opportunities out there and you can’t find them without charging your battery, doing a little networking and staying on top of the latest trends and technologies!

Here is a quick shot I took of Sierra, Sutton, Alex and Maddie before they went to the lake for the weekend. Sierra and Alex have been the best of friends since birth if that is possible :-)

Its great because none of these kids know life without each other being a part of it. Maddie and Alex are very important to us and I LOVE getting to watch them grow up and be such  important friends to my children!

Hugs to the Hindman Family!!

If anybody really knows me they know I LOVE animals. A couple of months ago a rescue opened it doors right by my husbands work. Needless to say I pulled right up to the door and walked in and played with the dogs. I after a couple times of going in and being very impressed with the facility, I asked the owner, Connie if I could photograph her dog and share them with you. She was thrilled to have the help finds these little guys new families.

So for Whitney and my first interview we chose Peanut and Scruffy. Directly below is Peanut he is a total sweetheart and we my son and nephews favorite to play with. He is a very well behaved little guy and desperately wanted to stay here with us and claim us as his family ;-) Trust me I would if I already didn’t have 3 dogs myself! Peanut is a Chihuahua mix and is waiting for a wonderful family.

Below Peanut is Scruffy. He was my favorite! So calm and sweet. I gave him a bath for his photo shoot and he just stood still and was a perfect angel. He did not want to sit on the couch alone he wanted Whitney to sit and pet him. It was so hard to take him back, I wanted to just pay Connie and take him home with me :-) Scruffy is a Maltese/poodle mix. I think anyone who goes to visit him will fall in love.

Connie can be reached at cfos@ymail.com She is also available pretty much anyday in the afternoon at the adoption facility.

The address is 2012 Garton Rd Ozark Mo 65721. Or Give her a call at 417.581.5008

We plan on featuring two pets every week!

Hugs!

Dawn
